I know this trend is so three years ago, but I didnt have a hair blog then, so Im writing about it now. Plus I still think its awesome.

Remember a few years ago when Louis Vuitton sent girls down the runway in huge glamorous bunny ears? It was such a daring and show stopping look. I have to admit, the whimsical, dress up loving girl in me adores it. Ive always been a fairy tale lover, and huge bunny ears just so happen to align with that love perfectly.

To be honest, I dont think accessorizing with animal ears is all that strange. I mean, if you think about it, what made wearing bows or flowers or feathers in our hair so normal? I would guess that a lot of people might stare if you are wearing bunny ears, but who decides what becomes normal (feathers, flowers, beads) and what is kept for just theme park going children?

I have a veiled pair similar to the second image. Would you wear bunny ears? For dress up, going out or even just to the supermarket for kicks?

For a subtler version, sometimes I tie my American Apparel scarf like pointy ears!

Ive been excited for this Louis Vuitton ad to come out for months! The blonde model in the ad spent almost a whole day at my salon getting the most perfect platinum hair for this campaign with one of the owners, Victoria. My bosses are both color masters, and I love watching the process of their work. If you could have seen the color in person, your jaw would drop at how flawless it is. Not a single spot. It is so evenly white, it looks like its her natural color. So beautiful!

Have you ever had platinum color? I am too scared of the possible damage and upkeep, but Ive always been a little tempted to try it. Its so striking!
