I love the soft waves in your first, pre-highlights photo, but i can never seem to get my hair to do that. My hair is long and naturally straight, and it doesn’t have a lot of texture, so i have a hard time getting it to hold a style. Are there any tips or products you can recommend for when i want to let my hair down without it falling flat?

Looks good! I just went to a hair show back in January with Kim Vo and he taught this type a technique. The Baliage! Lovin it! Also I love the smudge technique he showed as well! Easy, fast, and natural!

Your hair looks fantastic, that’s a great idea to help extend the time between touch ups. So far, my hair and I can only hold out for about 2 1/2 months max!

I used to do a 3/4 head of blonde foils on my dark, ashy blond hair and I had to get root touch ups every 4-6 weeks at the most. Now I have ombre balayage with my natural colour at the roots, and although I need a toner every two months or so, I can go at least 6 months without needing a re-colour. It’s heaven!
