Do guys watch Madmen? Probably, because it’s amazing.
I went to a premier party on Sunday night in Brooklyn with a few friends and had some fun dressing up for it. I teased up my hair into a beehive that skimmed the heavens above, threw on some lipstick and pearls and headed off to BK.
At first I was wearing a prom-y number, but since I don’t like strapless I changed to a more conservative shift. The style of the show has changed a lot in the last season, and isn’t so much pearls and gloves anymore. It’s more cat eye-lined lids and short paisley dresses. I love how the show evolves.
Guess how you do a beehive. Tease, then tease more, then tease more, then a little more, then smooth the top part over your huge nest and pin it up or pony it to your liking. It’s so easy, I promise. The hard part is brushing out the nest. Teasers be warned.
Not pictured (because the pictures were out of focus) Megan from Greetings from Texas! She was a ball.

Sweet beehive Reags, you look great. PS When I saw the Hunger Games Friday night I kept thinking how you need to see it. There’s some awesome braid action going on.
You look awesome!
ok love this. i could never pull it off/do it but i love it. love the top 4 photos. great work!
Love Mad Men and this fabulous beehive!
You look so cute! You inspired me to learn to wear red lipstick. So far, so good…and so FUN.
I work in the only salon in my town that women book weekly for just such a ‘Do. These women still take such great pride in their appearance and rock the back-combing a mile high!
Inspirational!
i would have given this mission up after a few days, i wouldn’t even have made it a week! or i’d have 30 days of mom bun documented haha. ya done good.

If the need to strictly abide by the traditional British royal wedding ring production, the Swedish royal family is relatively loose.
