Tutorial: Sweetheart Braid

I invented this little braid because the only other heart braids I’ve seen were full blown little girl ‘dos, and I wanted to give your hair something festive for Valentine’s day! This style is quick, easy, and sweet as pie. Try it out as a full up do if you are feeling more formal, and by all means, tease that crown before you get started for a more “grown up” (eh hem…sexy) look.

I’ve had so many ideas to make my tutorials more creative and interesting, and we’re finally trying them out! I hope you all like them, I can’t wait to show you more!

Aww this is cute! Perfect for Valentine’s Day! I think it would be super pretty to weave like a red/pink ribbon inside the braid so the shape of the heart can be more defined & recognizable!

I got some crazy idea to do my hair in a different style everyday this month. I did this for valentines day. I have a lot of really long hair so it turned into kind of a giant heart. Thanks for the idea.

I was sure I could pull this off, you made it look so easy! But no. It was an epic fail. However I love how adorable it looks on you and one of these I will accept that I’m slightly hair incapable… thankfully I’m good at curling my locks which is always a good fall back. ;) Love you and your posts though, keep up the awesomeness! xoxo
