Here is my demonstration of a mermaid braid! I mostly just demonstrate it, because it’s hard to explain. It really is just a french braid with only the front section of your hair! I often do this two or three times before I’m satisfied to walk out the door, so don’t feel frustrated if you aren’t getting it right away! Before long, you’ll be doing it with no mirror!
Hi, all. You may have noticed that Reagan has been a bit unresponsive since some time in early April. Well, that’s my fault. There are three email addresses that we have been using, in connection with this site. After our little hosting meltdown earlier this year, we moved servers. In my haste to get the site up and running again, I failed to connect two of those email addresses to Reagan’s main inbox. So.. chances are, if you attempted to email Reagan in the last month, she never received the message. The good news is that I finally noticed the glitch, and all of the mail was still on the server (just unread).
We were able to recover all of the messages last night. So Reagan has been very diligently sifting through 500+ email messages since then. She is making her best efforts to respond to those who have been so patiently waiting, including the giveaway winners (yikes). Again, so sorry. Please keep the awesome stuff flowing in. We love hearing from you, and seeing photos of Reagan’s tutorials put into action.

As well as HDOF turning one year, so is my short(ish) hair! Cutting my precious hair was really good for me, because it made me more daring to try new things. I love looking back on the year and seeing how many different looks I had, when usually all that I did before was differences in layers or lightness. Anyway, here is my year of hair in pictures!
