Kate Middleton’s Hats

I’m a little obsessed with the recent royal engagement. I’m jeal’ of Kate Middleton because when I was little, I played with a Princess Diana paper doll, now Kate gets to wear her ring. I’m jeal’ of Kate Middleton because she gets to become a princess. But the reason I’m the most jeal’ of Kate Middleton, is because she has the most incredible hat collection of all time. There are a lot of things that I love about the Brits, like when they say “Brilliant!” or “Rubbish!” or “Spot of tea!”, but the hat thing they do there is my favorite. I just want to wear a big hat. Really. Really. Really hard.

I google imageĀ  “Kate Middleton Hats” often and sigh at her fanciness.

The end.

PS which one is your favorite? for me, the bigger, the better.

I’m borderline ‘cessed with the royal engagement. Okay, maybe just Kate. She is just so pretty and puts the class in classy. Her outfits are gorg, and my favorite hat has to be the pile of feathers with the little spindly things coming out from everywhere. So fun.

I love the way the Brits say “knickers” for panties. My friend & I heard Victoria Beckham say it once and swore to work it into our vocabulary but always forget. :-( My fave is the 2nd to last!!

I love the last one the most right now! I have always wanted a reason to wear awesome hats. Maybe that will be the next big thing so we can all live out our dream of wearing those wonderful hats.

I’m voting for hat #2–super cute!
You need to come to the KY Derby if you love hats–there is seriously no better place to fashion watch!! It is my most favorite event of the year, and takes months to find the perfect hat (I don’t even buy a dress until I find a hat).

I went to a wedding in England this summer and EVERYONE wears hats. I want to bring this sucker stateside! It’s the best idea ever. ever!

The little ones are called “fascinators,” which is just fascinatingly awesome. You can “hire a fascinator” (rent) or buy it. I bought mine, naturally.

I’m obsessed too!! I love her style. I vote for the one with the purple flower. It’s so different and it maches her outfit perfectly.

LOVE! I am obsessed with the Royals…I remember waking up early to see Diana’s wedding (before you were born…eeeeeek!). I am actually going to a wedding at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London in February and I am beyond excited because I get to wear a hat. Oh and the feathered tan and black one is my fave!!!

I am a complete anglophile and this entire engagement is about to send me over the edge with excitement. I think Kate has an interesting style and can’t wait to see what she wears to her wedding. And I like her hair, too.

I think I like the second hat you have posted.

I love the feathers. “Hat” for me has always been a baseball cap. The Brits really know how to do hats, and Princess (to-be) Kate is tops (ha! punny!) with them. Lovelovelove.

I would totally wear more hats if I wouldn’t be eyed strangely, had a good milliner, and had half a clue on how to wear them. LOL.

I’m loving hearing about the royal engagement, too. It’s so refreshing to obsess over that rather than war or Congress or what-have-you-badnastything. I remember watching Princess Di and Charles get married – I was littlelittle, so the fairy tale totally won me over even then.

Hurray!! I love Kate and think she’s so cute and am so happy for her and Wills! My favorite hats are the one in the first photo, the one that looks like a big white dish, and the one with the black veil.
    Seriously, she is gorg!!

sorry i am so behind in my comment! but my husband and i were married in ireland (he’s from there, DBJ!) and the hat thing is big there too. they have hat rental places, where you go with your dress and pick out a rad hat that matches perfectly and then you just rent it for a couple of days! perfect! we had lots of hats there, and my mom wore one, she loved it. so, you need to open a hat rental place, get on it!!

If you love pictures of women wearing their hats, go to

Click on the logo, then choose “Picture the Hat Ladies”. You will see lots of hat-wearing events, and lots of lovely hats. My favortie is the Easter Promenade, in which I take part every chance I get.

Hope someone can answer this question for me-

The darling hat Kate Middleton wore for the christening for the ship recently, one of the news reporter mentioned a name of the hat or for the embellishment on the hat. Does anyone know what it was called?

    Thank you!

On the shoe itself, the overall style of the shoes mainly consists of three elements: the shoe last (basic shape), uppers and soles.Shoes, should be one filled with fashion features stereotypes supported by elegant fashionable upper shape and the shape of the natural fusion soles with upper style shoes soul shoe last.
