Here is a quick little video with tips on how to blow dry your own bangs. I’m still not used to the video thing yet, and most of all, my voice is totally different from what it sounds like in my head. I always thought I had a southern accent! Who knew?

Well sheesh, I’m all over your blobs today! But I have bangs and so this was very useful. I’ve been known to do the Kimmy Gibler horizontal brush style, but that’s just because I need a little lift to get my cowlick to blow straight out/down (unless you have any other suggestions!) But I do need to get back to some side swept action every now and then so now I KNOW to hold it horizontal!

Thanks for this tutorial. I don’t have bangs but am looking for a new cut so maybe I will soon…
Do you have any tips on how to find a good hairdresser? I recently moved and have had no luck finding someone who can work with my hair rather than just give a standard cut. Your website is super fun. Thanks!

Hey Reagan…so how do you dry your bangs if you have straight across, bluntish bangs? I do the Kimmy Gubler style just so they are straight across and do have any wave. But, I know the volume at the top thing is tricky for me. Please, do tell. Thanks!!

HOORAY! I have normal bangs for the first time in years and it did not involve the flat iron that seems to melt my hair ;) Really, you need a name for this technique. The Anti Gibler, Hooray!

great video tutorial Reagan, short and exactly what I needed. the first one that i’ve found that shows the side swept bang. you did a great job and i hope i can get similar results like yours. i haven’t been able to style my bangs since coming home with a new haircut 2 weeks ago and have been disappointed as it doesn’t look as good without knowing how to style the bangs properly. many thanks and best wishes!
